After years of concepts, nearly a year since the production version unveiling, and only a few months past when they said deliveries would begin, they are now in the hands of German customers as of last night in Welt. US customers have to wait until an event at the Pebble Beach Concours, Aug 18th, where the first US delivery will take place, at which point the 300~ish that will be waiting at the port will be released for delivery.
Now sighting photos might not just be test cars.

I was at my BMW dealer today picking up a part. I asked about the i3 here in Colorado. No dice. We won't see the iCars for at least a year. BMW is rightfully catering to big cities where they know they'll sell. However, each dealer had to send service advisors and techs to take i3/i8 courses in case one shows up for service.
